I'm the Executive Creative Director of Host/Havas.

Over the last fifteen years I've worked with some of the world’s most iconic brands delivering creatively ambitious, commercially effective work, which has been awarded at every major awards show. More recently, I've helped leadHost/Havas to four Agency of the Year wins (within our first year), secure the Spikes Music Grand Prix for AirNew Zealand’s Summer Wonderland; six Spikes for Air New Zealand’s Bring On Winter campaign; plus multiple Cannes Lions for Air New Zealand’s Losers’ Paradise, Very Merry Mistake, and Nicest Christmas Ever.

However, my passion for ideas that exist at the intersection between brands and popular culture has helped me accrue far more interesting accolades, including a Gold Album; a #1 charting Christmas Carol; two MTV Music Video Awards; a release date from George RR Martin on the next Game of Thrones book; and a credit on that terrible Power Rangers movie (although I don’t like talking about that last one).

I believe that the bigger the problem, the bigger the creative opportunity. And working in a country that has seen drought, bushfires, recessions, and the world’s longest pandemic lockdown (all in the last two years), I've certainly had a chance to put his philosophy into action with my brilliant team.

Working with Botanica byAir Wick, we developed the Rare Bloom Project – an initiative that has already saved thirty species of Australian wildflower from the verge of extinction following the 2020 bushfires. Our work with Sydney Water helped Sydneysiders save over 170 million litres of water a day during the worst drought in recorded history. Our work with the Heart Foundation was praised by Mark Ritson as “one of the great campaigns of the last ten years”. Our work for Pine-O-Cleen took the product from near-deletion to category leader.
